A place where time isn't a factor

Hey guys,

Isn't it wonderful how technology has made our lives so much more convenient? One is never truly 'away' because of Msn Messenger. So even though i'll be in another country where time would be an issue, if we see each other at the same time online, it would be as if we were all in the same place.

Cyberspace is a place where time isn't a factor. Take care now, i'll see you guys in 2 months.

I'm exhausted

I'm installing an anti-virus programe and it's taking too long.
I feel so exhausted. I don't know if it's cause of work, of really just a mental exhaustion. Can someone out there please pray for me?

The joke's on me

Yesterday i got off work early and so went back to dump my stuff from work and then head on down to church for service. On the way back with Wayne; we had been making jokes and kidding around, and then i saw my Golas out on the paraphet cause i had aired them when i had left my stuff at home. And so i sniffed at it a little and i said ," I hope someone steals my shoes cause they stink. " And it was meant to be a joke like, i rather someone took them cause i couldn't bare to throw them away myself.

The next morning i was heading out for work, and my shoes were gone. Someone did take them. My only pair of casual black sneakers that i wear for school and now for work. I thought it was pretty funny though. Be careful what you wish for, and in my case, what you joke about.

Then today i found out that i won't be getting my pay till the end of the month, which is the 31st of July- 5 days after i leave for the US. So... really, what have i been working for? The plan was to get the money from working so i can use it to pay for part of my air-ticket or at least have some cash to survive over there. And now i have nothing. I've been working long hours all this while for nothing. My plan of how i would work 20 days of 10 hour shifts doesn't matter anymore. Well, i did get 371 bucks from the work i did for the production house. But convert that over to US currency, that's about 200 dollars ? 200 dollars to last 2 months. wow. whee.

And so the joke's on me. Rule no. 1 , don't plan anything because even when you do, it doesn't work out, and i'm not a planning kind of person and see what happens when i do?
And those Golas are hardly 3 months old! I saved up to buy that. Now i have to buy another pair of shoes with money i hardly have left for the trip.

Sorry if it sounds like i need help , but i'm fine. I just needed to gripe a little. It is kinda funny how things turned out though. Weirdly, it brings a smile to my face.

Time for a brighter change

I thought i would change the layout of the blog so it wouldn't look so dark and dreary. Black can be a sombre , calming color, but then it gets boring after a while. The white layout looks too bright though.. like my eyes are going to burst into white flames with lazers shooting out.
Can someone teach me how to customise a background ?

Just got my pay from a job i did some time back. Glad to get it finally, but looking at the pay cheque dampens the mood a little. I shouldn't worry about it too much cause i can't really get a real job that pays resonably enough because i'm leaving in two weeks. Don't worry Jayne, just try to enjoy the trip as much as you can. Once i get back, things will be slightly better off. But the first two years are going to be the hardest.

Night!

Happy Me

The other day i got off work, and after the whole day working behind the counter, one can't help but wish for scoops of icey sweetness as well.

And then, at the end of the day after changing out of my uniform, i approached my friend to say bye, and there he was, getting the very flavour i had been thinking of the whole day. Getting that very flavour for the customers at the take-out counter.

I sighed.

SIGH.

And then, the next 20 mins was bliss. I've never felt so happy in my life in a long time, a stupid smile on my face and cold creamy crunchy goodness in my mouth. I wonder if i would shed a tear. But i do know it feels great to want something for the longest time, and then finally have it in your hands. It's the best feeling in the world.

It's going to be uphill for now

Tomorrow i start my 10 hr crazy shift. I can't give up, i need to presevere. I can only pray now that time flies by when i'm working, or at least, i have good company during my shift. I need to pray that thoughts of negativity NEVER reaches my head. Dear God, let me be ignorant throughout my shift. Not that i become stupid and forget my orders or the english language, but let me be ignorant to anyone's 'trying' to make me feel less about myself.

I just realized today that in 3 weeks, i'll be off. I just realized how fast time is now. Does anyone else feel that time seems to be travelling at a much faster speed than a few years back? Is it because after 21, time just FLIES like the speed of light?

The other night, after my thesis film screening, we went out for dinner me and my friends, and we talked about where we were going from here. There was talk about making a feature film, and a few of them brought up the fact that i was leaving and that alot can happen in the time i'm gone. Can alot happen while i'm gone? I hope that it's all good things, but i also hope that i'm a part of it too. And so i'l stalling, telling them to wait for me till i get back.

I wonder if anyone would.
